Flowers to Fruit Annual Show
22nd Annual Invitational Group Show
Lyghtesome Gallery
166 Main St.
Antigonish, N.S.
It’s that time of year again – the “Flowers to Fruit: show
is on at Lyghtesome Gallery!
Held every May for the last 22 years, this invitational
group show features over thirty artists and artisans celebrating the coming
of Spring with colour, energy and pizzazz! Great new work from a wonderful
Antigonish contingent of well known artists including watercolours, painting
on silk, oils, pastels and clay sculptures. And exciting new local talent
to check out as well: fabric artist Regina Marzlin, oil painter Karen Hurst,
watercolourist Cori MacInnis, acrylic painter Jaye Ouellette and stone sculptor
David Shaw. Other fantastic contributions have come from Yarmouth County
all the way up to Cheticamp and Ingonish, Cape Breton including new to the
gallery for the first time, from Halifax, miniatures by Lynn Rotin and photographs
by Margot Metcalf. Farther afield is special invitee, surface designer Sabrina
Edwards from Fredericton, New Brunswick and furthest of all, felt artist
Janice Robinson Perrin from the Yukon! It’s an amazing burst of colours
and flavours!
Come and feast on Flowers to Fruit from May 5 – 30.
